In my point of view fitness is assessed in four key areas:
- Aerobic fitness
- Muscular strength and endurance
- Flexibility
- Body composition
And if you want to do your assessment, you'll need:
- A stopwatch if it is available or a watch that can measure seconds
- A cloth measuring tape
- A yardstick
- Heavy-duty tape
- A scale
- Someone who can help you to record your scores and count repetitions
